Public Notice

       During the examination of copyright registration applications, more specifically, where the unpublished Literary work are uploaded online, a common error has been observed which occurs frequently that either the title of the work or the name of the author(s) or both remain missing on the uploaded work itself. It may be appreciated that to establish bonafide ownership of a work, both the title as well as the name of author(s) are necessary ingredient.

       Therefore, it is for general information of the applicants, in their own interest, who apply for copyright registration, specifically unpublished literary work (by offline/online mode) must indicate the title and name of the author(s) on the front page of the work to avoid unnecessary delay in registration of such work.
