Online Registration facility :
Shri Kapil Sibal, Hon'ble Minister of Human Resource Development, Government of India launches the first phase of the modernization of Copyright Office including provision of Online registration facility to authors and rights owners on 9th September, 2009.

Digitization of records and On-line search facility:
Under the Phase I of the modernization of Copyright Office project all the records will be digitized and ‘On-line search’ facility to help general public to know the details of copyright registration on payment of fee will be provided by 31st December 2009.

Shifting of the Copyright Office:
The Copyright office, under Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Human Resource Development which is shifted to
4th Floor, Jeevan Deep Building, Parliament Street, New Delhi 110001.
Next Sitting of the Copyright Board:
The sitting of the Copyright Board scheduled to be held at Mumbai on 24th to 26th September, 2012 has been cancelled.
